COVID-19  Communication


Hello everyone,


It is important for you to know that we at Key Rehab Services Inc. have been closely monitoring the ongoing nature of events related to the coronavirus (COVID-19). The health and safety of our employees, clients and our community continues to be of utmost importance. We want to reassure you that we are working hard to continue to provide support services to our clients while maintaining a safe environment for both the clients and our staff. 


Much planning and consideration has been underway and at this time, would like to share some of the protocols and preventative measures that we have implemented to date. 


We have provided our staff with detailed information regarding safety protocols and good hygiene routine to make sure that they are doing what they can to protect both themselves and the client from the virus.  At this time, we have provided our staff with the COVID-19 self-assessment screener tool issued by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. This screener is being used by each staff member for themselves, our clients and any other person who may be living in the home as a tool to ensure it is safe for all to keep our scheduled visit.

We have and will continue to encourage all of our staff to utilize safe hand hygiene by washing hands with soap and water, using hand sanitizer, not working if they are showing any symptoms, practicing social distancing, and self-isolating upon return from any sort of travel outside of the country or in the event that they have any contact with someone who may have come in contact with COVID-19. 


Please know that our business continuity preparedness plan is now in place to allow us to operate and service the needs of clients with as little disruption as possible. We will service the priority needs of clients, working within recommended guidelines. In conjunction with all stakeholders, we are assessing the service needs of each client and putting contingency plans in place. This includes ensuring our staff have the capabilities to take your calls and work remotely as needed.  We have enough 24/7 communications technology and the necessary protocols in place to ensure operational efficiencies.
